History

America The Beautiful Dreamer was founded in 1970 by the Thompsons in Vancouver, Washington. The original store opened on Main Street in downtown Vancouver, Washington. The stores have evolved over the years to meet the needs and wants of the customer. August 2008 marks our 38th year in business.

We carry futons, mattresses, kids beds, waterbeds, conventional bedroom furniture and accessories. We strive to offer the Northwest unique home furnishings at exceptional values. Each store is a little different depending on the owners and buyers at each location.
